Hiren’s Boot CD is a popular rescue disk, including Mini Windows XP and many applications that help you easily repair your computer.

Hiren’s BootCD 15.2 has dropped a lot of applications, probably because of copyright-related complaints. However, there are many versions of Hiren’s BootCD that are rebuilt by the community and users, mostly to restore the dropped applications. FalconFour’s Ultimate Boot CD and Hiren’s Boot DVD 15.2 Restored Edition v1.1 (Proteus) are two of the rebuild editions that you should use instead.

Hiren’s Boot CD does not support UEFI, many applications are old, it is only suitable for weak and old computers.

UpdatedHiren’s BootCD PE has been released, it is based on Windows 10 PE x64, includes many software and boot support in UEFI mode.

This article will guide you on how to add Hiren’s Boot CD 15.2 to AIO Boot.

  1. Download Hiren’s Boot CD. You can use older versions or rebuilt versions from the community.
  2. Run AIOCreator.exe, switch to Integration, select the Special Pack and choose Hiren’s BootCD.
  3. Browse to the ISO file that you downloaded in step 1, and click OK. The program will integrate it for you.

Good luck.

  1. I’m using the version of “Hiren’s Boot DVD 15.2 Restored Edition v1.1 (Proteus) “. Download link available in this above article. By following the instructions in this page, I am able to successfully boot up the Mini XP and Mini Windows 7. But there is a catch. Mini XP only works in IDE mode, and Mini Windows 7 only works in ACHI mode. Therefore, before booting, you have to go to the computer bios settings to set the SATA working mode, to either IDE or ACHI mode. And IDE mode is most probably only available in old computers, as Mini XP is designed to work on old computers. In modern computers, SATA is always run as ACHI. You’re most probably won’t be able to find the settings to switch the SATA mode of IDE/ACHI.

  2. Hi,

I don’t know what cave I came from but I only got to know about this AIO and I’m loving it. Got everything booting up properly except for the latest Hiren (Hiren’s BootCD PE x64). I’m stuck at Windows Boot Manager screen with:

    Status: 0xc0000017
Info There isn’t enough memory available to create a ramdisk device.

I integrated it as WinPE (your app offered it AND choosing NO returns Invalid File error)

    Can you help me?

  3. when trying to boot to hirens boot cd 15.2 it opens to a grub for dos menu grub:

  4. I have a question.. is it possible to boot Hiren’s.BootCD.15.2.iso from pxe network?
i cant find a way to reset my bios password.. and the first boot opciton is Netwook Boot PXE

  5. Hi,
downloaded from the respective sites. If I test it on my pc, it works and I can see I get the option to boot from Grub4dos but when I place it in a certain laptop, it doesn’t boot from grub4dos and just reads the files like text. Put it in a seperate laptop and it works so it’s something to do with the laptop I think

  6. Hi,
I can’t get Hiren, UBCD etc to run either. Tried it a few ways eg iso in /aio/files/ etc and it still won’t boot.
Any chance you could go into more detail on how to achieve this?

  7. Hi. DLCBoot2017 . Trying to intergrate using your latest version, and I keep getting a “invalid file” error.
    I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

      1. Well, do you have a section for DLC boot, I thought it was Next Gen Hiren’s…. I don’t know.

  8. Hi , i have a problem with Hiren’s.

I able to boot in pxe and load correctly some linux distros with the options Integration.
I do the same thing for Hiren’s . I choose Special Pack and Hirens’ Boot Cd .
All things works . integration complete.

But i load via my client i only see my linux distros and nothing in special pack tab.

  9. I built two aio boot USB’s. I installed several antivirus iso’s and several Linux iso’s. Aio does a good job of building the menus and installing the iso’s. Hirens was installed as well. The trouble I have is you can’t access the computer’s hard drive. Look at the screenshot above. The main hard drive is not listed. If you run a utility like defrag from Hirens it does not list the hard drive. How can I fix this?
